The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of multiple demolition and enabling works projects across London and the South East. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will provide leadership to Project Managers, Site Managers and site teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of multiple demolition and enabling works contracts simultaneously.
- Provide leadership and support to Project Managers, Site Managers and Supervisors.
- Ensure all projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme.
- Monitor project performance, costs, programme and quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Chair client meetings, progress meetings and operational reviews.
- Work closely with the commercial team to maximise project profitability.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, environmental regulations and demolition industry best practice.
- Support pre-construction planning, logistics and programming.
- Manage resources, labour, plant and subcontractors across multiple live projects.
- Produce regular operational reports for senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and operational performance.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within demolition, enabling works, structural alterations, civil engineering or major construction.
- Strong understanding of demolition methodologies, temporary works and construction sequencing.
- Proven experience managing multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication and client management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to work alongside commercial teams to achieve project objectives.

- Full UK Driving Licence.
