The Role
ESD Recruitment is representing a well-established demolition contractor seeking an experienced Contracts Manager. The role will suit someone capable of taking projects from initial enquiry and estimating stage through to site delivery and final account. You will have full ownership of multiple demolition contracts, combining pre-construction, estimating, and operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Price and estimate demolition works from drawings and site visits
- Run projects start to finish, from tender through to completion
- Oversee multiple live demolition sites across London & the South East
- Manage Site Managers, Supervisors, and subcontractors
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget
- Prepare and review RAMS, programmes, and demolition sequences
- Attend client, pre-start, and progress meetings
- Control costs, variations, and commercial performance
- Maintain high health & safety standards across all sites
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within demolition
- Strong estimating and pricing experience within demolition works
- Solid understanding of demolition methods and sequencing
- Commercially aware with strong cost control skills
- SMSTS and CSCS (Gold or Black)
- Full UK driving licence
