Location: Fareham, Hampshire

Salary: Approx. £35,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday – 07:30am to 5:00pm

ESD Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading demolition and enabling works contractor for a Junior Project Manager to join their growing team based out of Fareham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within the demolition and construction industry, working alongside experienced professionals on a range of projects across the South of England. The successful candidate will be office based in Fareham with regular travel to live sites as required.

The Role

  • Assisting senior management with the day-to-day running of demolition projects
  • Supporting the delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion
  • Attending site visits, client meetings, and progress meetings
  • Assisting with health & safety documentation and site compliance
  • Coordinating subcontractors, labour, and materials
  • Monitoring project programmes and reporting progress to senior management
  • Supporting with commercial awareness, variations, and project administration
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

Requirements

  • Construction-related degree or qualification preferred
  • Previous construction or site-based experience advantageous
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Eager to learn and progress within project management
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence preferred due to travel to sites
