Draughtsperson / CAD Engineer (Setter Out) Location: Birmingham Hours: Full-time, 44 hours per week (Mon–Thur 7:30 – 17:00 / Fri 7:30 – 16:00) Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) About the Role ESD Recruitment are working on behalf of a leading bespoke joinery and metalwork manufacturer, who are seeking a Draughtsperson / CAD Engineer (Setter Out) to join their team. You’ll work closely with internal teams to interpret architectural drawings and 3D visuals, producing accurate 2D / 3D drawings through AutoCAD or Inventor for client approval and manufacture. This is a hands-on, technical position where you’ll be involved in projects from design through to production, playing a key role in delivering high-end, custom installations. Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role Experience designing for manufacture Good understanding of joinery and/or metalwork Knowledge of manufacturing processes Ability to read architectural drawings and produce working documents Desirable Experience using AutoCAD / Inventor Previous joinery background Positive, proactive approach and ability to manage multiple tasks Benefits Free parking Pension
