ESD Recruitment are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join one of our long-standing clients — a well-established Design & Build contractor working across both public and private sector projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing, reputable business that delivers high-quality schemes typically valued in excess of £3 million.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially astute, and able to manage multiple packages from procurement through to final account.
Responsibilities- Procuring and managing subcontractor packages
- Preparing cost value reconciliations and cash flow forecasts
- Conducting value engineering throughout design and delivery
- Managing and tracking change across projects
- Producing and submitting client valuations
- Negotiating and agreeing final accounts
- Supporting project delivery teams with commercial guidance
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience working on Design & Build projects valued £3m+
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good understanding of commercial processes and client management
- Car allowance or equivalent
- Company events & great working culture
