ESD Recruitment are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join one of our long-standing clients — a well-established Design & Build contractor working across both public and private sector projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing, reputable business that delivers high-quality schemes typically valued in excess of £3 million.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially astute, and able to manage multiple packages from procurement through to final account.

Responsibilities
  • Procuring and managing subcontractor packages
  • Preparing cost value reconciliations and cash flow forecasts
  • Conducting value engineering throughout design and delivery
  • Managing and tracking change across projects
  • Producing and submitting client valuations
  • Negotiating and agreeing final accounts
  • Supporting project delivery teams with commercial guidance
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience working on Design & Build projects valued £3m+
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Good understanding of commercial processes and client management
