Storybook Sunningdale Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Storybook Sunningdale. Our nursery (for ages 3 months – 5 years) is located in a charming old building, full of character with an outdoor space which overlooks green fields. We are a local independent nursery, with dedicated teachers and a place in the community. Dreamcatcher Childcare provides an environment for children to develop their natural curiosity through positive learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for young children.
- Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development.
- Supervise children during play, meal, and rest times, always ensuring their well-being.
- Work alongside staff to support children’s social, emotional, and physical needs.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic setting following health and safety guidelines.
- Observe and record children’s progress, reporting to supervisors as required.
- Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents, fostering positive relationships.
Requirements
- You must be able to gain a clear DBS.
- GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent are desired.
Hours
Storybook Sunningdale are open from 08.00-18:00 Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours and up to 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.
