Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship – Eco Montessori, Norman Court. Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Eco Montessori West Tytherley, Norman Court. Eco Montessori Nursery is nestled in the picturesque rural village of West Tytherley. We are a dedicated early years setting specialising in the Montessori approach to learning. Our unique curriculum blends the principles of the EYFS with Montessori methods, enriching the children’s daily experiences. We welcome children aged 6 months to 5 years, providing a nurturing environment that fosters growth and development at every stage. Eco Montessori, Norman Court has three rooms: babies, toddlers and preschool, caring for children 6 months – 4/5 years, plus a holiday club for 3 – 11 years. We follow the EYFS and Montessori philosophy, forest school, and an eco‑school blended learning approach.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Help look after and support young children in a nursery setting
- Assist with fun, age‑appropriate activities and play
- Support children with daily routines such as mealtimes and tidy‑up time
- Help keep the environment clean, safe, and welcoming
- Work as part of a team and follow instructions from senior staff
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety rules at all times
- Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn on the job
Requirements:
- Experience in a nursery setting
- Preferably have GCSE grades A*‑C or 4‑9 in Maths and English, or equivalent, or willing to work towards them
Hours: Eco Montessori, Norman Court is open from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work 30+ hours per week over 4 or 5 days.
