We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Manager to join our friendly team at Mama Bear’s Day Nursery in Fishponds. If you’re ready to step up in your early years career, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive and well‑resourced setting. Our nursery is a beautiful, purpose‑built setting tucked away in secure gardens just off Thicket Avenue. The timber built building sits within landscaped outdoor spaces designed to spark curiosity, discovery and hands‑on learning – a place children and practitioners genuinely love.
As Deputy Manager, you’ll support the day to day running of the nursery, lead and motivate staff, and ensure excellent standards of care, education and safeguarding.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous supervisory experience in an early years setting
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Understanding of Ofsted requirements
