Salary: Up to £13.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Candidates must be able to work at least 20 hours, 5 days per week (4, 5 or 6 hour shifts available).

Candidates should have/be willing to complete a paediatric first aid certificate and Level 2 Food hygiene.

The Role

As our Nursery Chef, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen in our 68-place nursery. You will:

  • Assist the chef with preparation of food for service and mealtimes and all aspects of the kitchen including ordering, deliveries, waste management and cleaning.
  • General housekeeping duties to ensure the setting is clean and well-maintained at all times.

Requirements

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • A genuine interest in children’s health and wellbeing.
