We are recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader in Hanwell. Our well‑established team welcomes an inspirational, dedicated, and passionate early years room manager. Join our family‑run nursery with 25 years of experience and nine beautiful nurseries across Buckinghamshire and West London, and make a difference in children’s lives while developing your early years career.

Position: Room Manager

Hours: 40 hours per week (option to condense 40 hours over 4 days)

Salary: £29,120 to £30,680

Opening Hours: 7.30 am to 6.00 pm

What we are looking for: We’re seeking a special individual who, along with a full and relevant early years qualification and leadership experience, can bring and share their fun, passion and confidence as an early years professional to lead our vibrant room. As Room Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping children’s daily experiences, guiding your team, and ensuring high‑quality care and education in line with the EYFS.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Leading the planning and delivery of a high‑quality, child‑centred EYFS curriculum
  • Creating and maintaining inspiring indoor and outdoor learning environments
  • Building strong bonds as room manager and key person, supporting children’s development and working closely with families
  • Supporting and motivating your team to ensure best practice and positive outcomes
  • Leading calm, inclusive routines and transitions throughout the day
  • Overseeing observations, assessments, and next‑step planning
  • Managing risk and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment
  • Leading team reflections and driving continuous improvement
  • Keeping up to date with best practice and supporting team development
  • Assisting the management team with other management tasks such as opening & closing, administrative duties / 3rd in charge duties as required
