Willow Cottage Nurseries are seeking a person to assist in keeping our nurseries clean and operating effectively, as well as providing additional cover for our nursery teams looking after the children during busy periods.

Hours: 25 over 5 days 7.00am - 12.00pm (alternative hours may be available for the right candidate)

Start Date: Open until filled

Locations: There are currently openings at the following locations:

  • Farmoor OX2 9NT
  • Bletchingdon OX5 3DH

Qualification: Familiarity with COSHH regulations is desirable.

Experience: A successful candidate will probably have had experience working as a housekeeper and be comfortable and confident looking after children aged 0-5.

Salary: £11.40/hour + Benefits

Responsible to: Team Leaders, Setting Management

Flexible working arrangement: We are looking for someone who can work 5 days a week either 9am to 2pm or 11.30 to 4.30pm. However, this is a flexible role and we may be able to accommodate other working patterns or longer hours. Unfortunately, this is not a term‑time only position.

Housekeeper role: Our nurseries are spacious and full of activity and our housekeepers are key to keeping them running smoothly and efficiently. As a housekeeper your role will include the following activities:

  • Regularly cleaning surfaces and touch points to maintain good hygiene
  • Deep cleaning toys, resources and storage areas
