Early Years Nursery Practitioner at Shooting Stars Nursery – Hinckley, Leicestershire, LE10 1AD

£14.10 per hour | Full‑time (40 hours)

Hours: Monday–Friday | 7:30am–6:00pm All year round | Bank holidays off

We’re looking for a passionate Early Years Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team at Shooting Stars Nursery in Hinckley. With the summer term underway, this is a great time to come on board and make a real difference to our children’s development and our team. Our Hinckley nursery is a well‑established, welcoming setting with strong leadership, consistent routines and a supportive team culture. We value reflective practice, child‑led learning and giving practitioners the time and trust to do their job well.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (full & relevant), level 2 may be considered
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Understanding of the EYFS framework, including inclusive practice and SEND support
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • A positive, reliable team player with a genuine passion for early years education

Your Role:

  • Act as a Key Person, forming warm, secure relationships with children and families
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate, child‑led learning experiences
  • Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Contribute to high‑quality practice, observations and Ofsted readiness
