This is a permanent Early Years Nursery Practitioner role, with a salary from £25k to £30k per annum.
It is essential for the successful Nursery Practitioner to hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
Responsibilities:- Have previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting with children under 5
- Support children with their personal, social and emotional development
- Assist with early reading, vocabulary and literacy, and early maths skills development, following the EYFS curriculum
- Encourage development through interactive play and exploration, including child-led learning
- Help children to build on their social skills and develop positive relationships from an early age
- Provide a supportive, stimulating and language rich environment where every child can thrive
- Be able to work in a team collaboratively
- Have great knowledge of early childhood development and display strong communication skills
- Carry out observations to assess key children's progress
