Working within the Sales Operations team you will be focused on optimising the tools, processes, and technologies used to support the sales team in achieving their goals. Adopting a data-driven approach you will work with regional Sales leadership to understand and evaluate the effectiveness of the sales team, ensure processes and policies are followed, and establish robust controls to ensure sales pipeline data is accurate and up to date. You will support the sales organisation’s success by assisting with instituting sales goals, analysing market trends and producing and maintaining a detailed suite of sales reports and KPIs.
- Account Allocation & Segmentation: Manage account allocation, segmentation, and de-duplication to optimise coverage and minimise conflicts.
- CRM & Marketing Systems Development: Oversee development and continuous improvement of Sales CRM and marketing systems to enhance data integrity and reporting.
- Sales Compensation & Targets: Design and administer sales compensation plans, terms & conditions, and target-setting processes.
- Maintain accuracy of sales revenue and pipeline data through governance and exception reporting.
- Data Management & Reporting: Ensure high-quality CRM data, lead management, and actionable reporting for leadership and sales teams.
- Sales Enablement Campaigns: Deliver data-driven enablement campaigns with measurable outputs to support sales productivity.
- Leadership Support: Provide strategic support to sales leadership, including territory planning and performance insights.
- Salesforce Support: Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce support and triage, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Facilitate regular pipeline reviews with Sales Management to provide a consistent and accurate view of performance.
- Sales Reporting: Create, maintain, and manage sales reports and KPIs to analyse performance at a regional, manager, individual and product/service level.
- VP Sales Support: Routinely review with VP of Sales competitive data and organise bodies of work and insight for sharing with the sales organisation, as directed by VP of Sales.
Must be able to demonstrate success in engaging and sharing data analytics to senior level executives and present confidently to sales professionals on the team. Experience developing effective business relationships with all levels of internal and external teams such as Finance, Marketing, Sales and Operations etc. Salesforce.com with advanced report writing capabilities. Advanced MS Excel Skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI preferred, or Domo, Tableau or like database analytic tools. Significant experience in Sales Operations or a similar role. Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce/Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and marketing automation tools. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in sales compensation design and governance is desirable.
