About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Sales Performance Coach to support our sales teams in the US and UK. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales performance, improving the quality of customer interactions, and supporting the development of new talent through our graduate scheme. This role combines quality assurance, sales coaching, and performance enhancement to elevate the effectiveness and impact of our salesforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance (QA): Monitor and evaluate sales calls and customer interactions to ensure adherence to training, brand messaging, and best practices. Provide detailed feedback to sales representatives and managers to identify strengths, development areas, and training needs. Collaborate with the Sales Training Manager to adapt training content based on QA insights.
- Sales Coaching: Deliver tailored coaching sessions to improve sales techniques, objection handling, value-based selling, and communication skills. Support managers in developing their coaching capabilities, ensuring consistent and effective coaching practices. Work with sales leadership to identify and address performance gaps through targeted coaching interventions.
- Graduate Scheme Support: Lead and facilitate training sessions for the graduate scheme, ensuring the effective onboarding, development, and integration of new talent. Design and implement structured coaching plans to accelerate graduates' progression and success. Act as a mentor and role model, providing ongoing support and guidance to graduates.
- Induction Training: Support the Sales Training Manager in delivering induction training for all new hires outside of the graduate scheme. Ensure a consistent onboarding experience that reinforces best practices, processes, and company standards.
- Driving Sales Performance: Design, implement, and manage sales incentive schemes to motivate and drive performance. Collaborate with sales leadership to align incentive programs with business objectives and market conditions. Use data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of incentive schemes and recommend improvements.
Functional and technical skills:
- Proven experience in sales coaching, sales training, or a similar performance-focused role.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, consultative selling, and value-based selling techniques (MEDDPICC would be desirable).
- Experience conducting quality assurance evaluations and providing feedback.
- Ability to deliver engaging training sessions, both in-person and virtually.
- Experience supporting or leading graduate training programs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
