The Context
We don’t just talk decarbonization—we deliver cashflow. ESCo₂ has engineered an adaptive cryogenic gas purification and multi-gas liquefaction platform that converts raw industrial stack emissions directly into valuable liquid commodities. Our technical assets, engineering supply chain, and manufacturing pipelines are locked down. Our first refinery test-bed site is positioned in South Africa. As the Founder, my background is industrial asset execution and operational deployment, not oil and gas trading or capital market politics. We are now selecting an energy-sector heavy-weight to join the team as Co-Founder & Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to serve as our commercial anchor.
The Role & Mandate
This is a front-line operator role. You will own the investor room, run institutional capital rounds, and be the primary face of the company to global financial syndicates, trading desks, and major energy clients—including National Oil Companies (NOCs) like the NOC in Libya. Initially, until project financing closes, this position operates on a milestone-driven sweat-equity structure built directly into the co-founder agreement against concrete performance metrics.
Core Responsibilities
- Capital Mobilization: Architect and execute institutional seed, series, and project-level finance campaigns ($10M+).
- Strategic Partnerships: Manage high-level sovereign, institutional, and commercial operator interfaces, leveraging our existing exclusive representation frameworks in North Africa.
- Commercial Architecture: Stress-test and scale multi-gas monetization, liquid commodity sales, and international off-take legal structures.
- Executive Sparring: Act as the critical commercial sounding board to the Founder, stripping away corporate fluff to focus purely on milestone execution.
The Person We Look For
- Energy Pedigree: Hardened professional background in oil and gas, cryogenic midstream processing, heavy chemical engineering, or global energy commodity trading.
- Fundraising Track Record: Verifiable history of successfully leading capital raises, venture capital rounds, or infrastructure project finance.
- Geopolitical Competence: Native capability commanding boardrooms and navigating complex or volatile energy jurisdictions (MENA/North African market exposure is highly valued).
- Operator Mindset: You are an execution-focused realist who prefers direct truth and rapid iteration over institutional consensus.
To Apply / Connect: If you are an operator who wants a massive equity stake in a highly scalable cleantech platform that turns emissions into immediate revenue, let’s look at the numbers. DM me directly or email your background to discuss terms.
