Esco also operates Contract Design and Manufacturing (CDMO), Esco Aster, based in Singapore.

Job Overview:

As the UK & European Healthcare Sales and Applications Manager, you will take ownership of developing new business and managing key customer relationships across the UK and Europe. Your focus will be on developing relationships, cost and proposal generation, and selling the Esco Healthcare Equipment portfolio, including Downflow Booths, Aseptic and Containment Isolators, Air-showers, Pass-Boxes and more. You will be the regional Commercial lead reporting to the business unit head.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a global sales strategy targeting, but not limited to, pharmaceutical manufacturers, CDMOs, and biotech companies
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in target markets and regions
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from initial prospecting and lead qualification to proposal development including costing and writing technical and commercial proposals, contract negotiation, and sales execution
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at target customers and existing key accounts
  • Develop key account partnerships with Master Service Agreements
  • Foster relationships with similar OEMs to enhance offering
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering team to ensure successful project handover and execution
  • Work with and help grow our agent network targeting key growth regions
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer site visits
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and strategic planning
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market analyses for senior leadership
  • Manage the effective use of Esco CRM system (RedDot)

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years international sales experience in OEM capital equipment, with a focus on the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector
  • Deep understanding of containment and aseptic processing, GMP requirements, and the regulatory environment in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Experience selling complex bespoke solutions with long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder involvement
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Familiarity with pharma regulatory frameworks (e.g. EU GMP, FDA, Annex 1)
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the UK and Europe including visits to Esco HQ in Singapore and Esco’s main manufacturing hub in Indonesia
