The predicted salary is between 18 - 27 £ per hour.

Are you looking to share your experience and expertise to help develop silver jewellery making and technical skills for beginners and improvers? Do you want to participate in fostering a collaborative, inclusive learning environment?

This exciting role will include:

  • Delivery of the Silver Jewellery Making leisure courses at our Eastbourne campus (with the possibility of expanding the adult leisure art and crafts provision to other mediums in the future). This includes developing engaging lessons that encourage students to explore their creativity.
  • Teaching and mentoring students to build on and expand their artistic and technical skills.
  • Working with the wider adult leisure department and contributing to the positive learning environment.

If you can demonstrate the following then we'd love to hear from you:

  • Previous experience teaching an art/craft based subject.
  • Good classroom management and an energetic, uplifting approach to teaching.
  • Excellent communication and committed to being part of an effective team.

College location: Based at our Eastbourne

Annual salary: £22.61 per hour (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
