Duties
- Setup and operate surface mount technology (SMT) machines to assemble electronic components with precision, on a rotating shift pattern.
- Perform routine maintenance on SMT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilise inspection equipment to validate product quality.
- Use of general hand tools for production tasks, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency, product quality and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and report any discrepancies or defects.
Experience
- Proven experience in SMT operations or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Familiarity using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high‑quality work.
