Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead a small team in a busy food manufacturing environment. This role will oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring the safe storage, handling and dispatch of chilled and frozen products. Key responsibilities: Manage a small team of warehouse operatives, setting goals and monitoring performance. Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. Maintain stock accuracy and inventory control using ERP systems. Ensure warehouse processes meet food safety, allergen and hygiene standards. Schedule staff rotas and oversee training in safety, quality and operational procedures. Liaise with production, third-party warehouses and suppliers to ensure smooth stock movement. Motivate and organise the team to achieve productivity targets. Manage warehouse equipment, vehicles and mechanical handling equipment. Produce reports and monitor KPIs to support continuous improvement. Book transport with 3rd Part Suppliers Skills & experience: Proven previous experience managing successful warehouse teams in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong people manager who enjoys motivating and developing teams and a positive culture. Food manufacturing and cold/chill experience would be highly advantageous. Strong understanding of inventory control, ERP systems and dispatch processes. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Hands-on, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
