We're working with a growing Scottish manufacturing business that has moved quickly from concept to production and is now scaling. They're now looking to bring in experienced Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics to support the build and assembly of their product. This is not a standard servicing role. It's hands-on, full vehicle build work where you'll be involved from start to finish, working closely with engineers and technicians in a structured, quality-led environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Mechanical assembly and fitment of components
- Working from engineering drawings and build instructions
- Using hand tools, torque equipment and measurement tools
- Supporting testing, fault finding and build quality
- Completing build documentation and quality checks
- Working as part of a close-knit production team
What we're looking for:
- Background as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Open to automotive, HGV, plant, heavy engineering or similar
- Strong mechanical skills and confidence using tools
- Experience with assembly, repairs or diagnostics
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
What's on offer:
£18-£21 per hour depending on experience. Day shift, Monday to Friday, 40 hours. Immediate starts available.
