We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Manager to join a well-established business on a 14 month fixed-term basis. This is a key role with full responsibility for site technical, quality, and compliance functions. You will be leading from the front, ensuring standards are maintained while supporting operational teams and managing external audits.
The Role
- Lead all technical and quality systems on site
- Ensure compliance with UK legislation and recognised standards
- Manage HACCP and quality processes
- Act as the lead contact for audits (third-party and customer)
- Investigate non-conformances and drive corrective actions
- Work cross-functionally to maintain standards and product integrity
- Manage supplier approvals and specifications
- Support and develop internal teams
About You
- Experience in Technical Manager, QA Manager, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and audit standards (e.g. BRCGS)
- Confident managing audits and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Able to lead and influence across departments
