Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Escape Recruitment\’s client, based in Glasgow, is seeking a skilled Senior Design Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to innovative engineering projects for a global business, supporting customers across a range of industries. Key Responsibilities: Provide engineering design and technical support across the full product lifecycle. Review customer specifications and support tendering, operations, and field service teams. Carry out design calculations, produce technical specifications, and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. API). Lead on ATEX standards relating to pumping equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, quality, and production.Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of mechanical design experience, ideally with rotating machinery or related equipment. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
