Escape Recruitment is working with a manufacturing client in Fife to recruit an experienced Quality Technician who is ready to take the next step into a Quality Engineer role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in quality within a manufacturing environment who is looking to develop their career further and gain greater responsibility within a supportive team.

The role will involve:

  • Investigating quality issues and carrying out root cause analysis
  • Supporting and driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Analysing quality data and identifying trends and improvement opportunities
  • Working closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues
  • Supporting quality systems, documentation and internal audits
  • Contributing to continuous improvement activities across the business

We're looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience as a Quality Technician (or similar) within a manufacturing environment
  • A strong understanding of quality processes and problem solving techniques
  • Experience using tools such as 5 Why, 8D or similar methodologies
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or quality management systems
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to work cross-functionally

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC or FMEA would be beneficial but is not essential.
