Production Manager

An established manufacturing business is looking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to lead day‑to‑day production operations, develop the team and drive improvements across the manufacturing process.
This is a hands‑on role for a practical and proactive manager who enjoys working in a fast‑paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production activities, planning and scheduling.
- Lead and develop production personnel.
- Monitor production performance, output and efficiency.
- Implement process improvements.
- Work closely with supply chain and other departments.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety and compliance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support process, equipment and operational improvement projects.
The Person
You will ideally have previous experience in:
- Production Management
- Manufacturing Management
- FMCG/Food Manufacturing
- Production Planning
- Continuous Improvement
- Quality-controlled manufacturing environments
Our client is looking for someone who is hands‑on, commercially aware, organised and confident leading people, with the ability to identify problems and turn them into opportunities for improvement.
Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience.
