Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a medium–sized manufacturer supplying high–precision components to UK and international markets, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their design team.

About the Company

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical products in line with recognised industry standards
  • Produce and revise 3D models and 2D drawings using industry–standard CAD software
  • Work closely with production, quality and commercial teams to ensure designs meet project requirements
  • Maintain documentation and data within the company's MRP system
  • Support compliance with relevant regulations and directives

Candidate Requirements

  • 2 years' experience in mechanical design within an ISO 9001 environment
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (or equivalent 3D CAD) and 2D CAD tools
  • Strong competency with MS Office applications
  • Experience using an MRP or ERP system
  • Familiarity with industry directives (e.g. PED, ATEX) is desirable but not essential
