Escape Recruitment is partnering with an established manufacturer experiencing significant growth, to recruit a hands-on Material Planner / Expeditor for their manufacturing site.
Responsibilities
- Interpret MRP/ERP outputs to create, adjust and expedite purchase orders
- Be the first point of contact for operational matters with suppliers
- Resolve delays, shortages and invoice queries
- Schedule production parts to meet daily demand
- Maintain stock levels and organise materials to minimise waste
Experience and knowledge required
- Experience as a Material Planner, Expeditor, or Buyer in a manufacturing/engineering environment
- ERP/MRP system experience
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Team player who can also work independently
- Positive, professional approach with excellent communication skills
