Engineering Planner required for an exciting role with a leading manufacturing company based in the Livingston area. This is an excellent opportunity to join this company at a very exciting time within their development. Our client is an established and highly successful manufacturing organisation which provides product to a wide and varied client base.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the implementation and the on-going running of a new CMMS.
- Monitoring engineering activity against plan and adjusting schedules accordingly.
- Spending time on the plant to ensure engineering work is proactively planned.
- Driving continual process reviews and identifying ways to improve them.
- Managing work orders.
Qualifications:
- Experience within an engineering planning role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Team player with excellent attention to detail.
- Engineering background would be advantageous but not a necessity.
