We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Shift Manager to work with our growing food manufacturing client based in Fife. This position has come about due to growth within the facility and the main duties will be to manage the shift ensuring that all products are produced to the specifications and that targets and deadlines are met. This is based on a dayshift/backshift.
The Candidate:
- Previous experience in a management role within manufacturing is essential
- Experience of delivering on KPIs
- Assist in site strategy projects
- Background in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement initiatives
The role:
- Lead and deliver on Continuous Improvement initiatives
- To deliver a competent production team through the identification of skills gaps and the delivery of training.
- To lead continuous improvement activities within the factory to improve processes and workplace organisation.
- To promote and monitor within the team the adherence to Quality standards
