Escape is working in partnership with a long-established manufacturing organisation who have created a new role for a Head of Procurement to lead and develop their purchasing function across multiple sites. While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for managing a team, building strong supplier relationships, and ensuring materials and services are available to support production and business growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and develop multi-site purchasing teams
  • Oversee all MRO and indirect spend, ensuring value and continuity of supply
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Ensure timely availability of materials to support production and capital projects
  • Drive improvements in processes, procedures and efficiency across the purchasing function
  • Support the upgrade and optimisation of the MRP system
  • Work closely with colleagues across operations, manufacturing, logistics and fleet

  • Experienced procurement professional with a track record of leading teams
