QC Inspector Motherwell Day Shift – Monday to Thursday 32,268 + early finish every weekend
We\’re hiring for a QC Inspector to join a well-known manufacturing site in Motherwell. This role is all about precision, ensuring that only quality-assured parts enter production. If you\’ve got a keen eye and solid hands-on inspection skills, this could be your next move.
Responsibilities
- Carry out dimensional checks using micrometers, verniers, calipers, and portable measuring tables – this is a key part of the role
- Inspect incoming materials and components against quality standards
- Investigate quality concerns and determine whether parts should be accepted or rejected
- Review returned parts and support with initial sample checks for new components
- Record non-conformances
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience performing dimensional checks using manual measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, calipers, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently
- Previous inspection experience within a manufacturing environment (automotive, marine, oil & gas, or construction) would be desirable but not essential
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
