This is a broad and influential position, combining engineering leadership, maintenance strategy, statutory compliance, contractor management, health & safety, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement.

  • Maintaining accurate engineering, inspection, compliance and contractor records.
  • Liaising with internal management and external contractors to ensure work is completed safely and effectively.
  • Supporting emergency preparedness and ensuring critical site systems remain compliant and operational.
  • Contributing to the continual improvement of the site's Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems.

About You

We are looking for an experienced engineering professional who can operate confidently at management level while remaining comfortable getting involved in the detail. You are likely to have:

  • Previous experience in an Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Engineering Lead or similar senior engineering position.
  • Strong experience within a manufacturing, production, process or industrial environment.
  • Experience managing maintenance programmes and engineering resources.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety and engineering compliance.
