We are recruiting for a Quality Technician to join an established manufacturing business based in Glenrothes. This is a hands-on role working closely with Production to ensure materials and finished products meet the required quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
What you'll be doing:
- Inspecting and testing incoming raw materials
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
- Testing and inspecting finished products against specifications
- Recording test and inspection results accurately
- Identifying and reporting non-conforming materials or products
- Supporting investigations into quality issues, customer complaints and returns
- Maintaining quality and inspection documentation
- Working closely with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues
- Supporting audits and working within established quality procedures
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities
