We're looking for a time-served technician or qualified apprentice to join a busy manufacturing team in Motherwell. This is a hands-on role involving mechanical assembly, fault finding, and system diagnostics.
What you'll be doing:
- Assembling and fitting parts to spec using hand/power tools
- Diagnosing and repairing faults across electrical, hydraulic, engine, brake, and cooling systems
- Using workshop equipment like overhead cranes and hydraulic presses
- Supporting inspections and resolving non-conformances
- Interpreting technical drawings and diagnostic plans
- Driving completed machines for transport
What we need from you:
- Relevant mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Comfortable with diagnostic tools and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Bonus if you've worked with similar machinery or in a lean manufacturing setup
