Escape Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation operating within critical power and specialist equipment solutions. This is a customer-facing role supporting equipment across a regional territory, carrying out servicing, maintenance, breakdown response, fault-finding and commissioning activities. The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role working across multiple customer sites and engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair diesel-powered equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Respond to equipment breakdowns
- Carry out commissioning and decommissioning activities
- Complete technical reports and service documentation
- Support planned maintenance programmes
- Deliver high levels of customer service
- Participate in the on-call rota
What We’re Looking For
- Strong mechanical engineering background
- Electrical fault-finding capability
- Diesel engine experience
- Experience working independently
- Engineering qualification or apprenticeship preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable travelling throughout the region
