My client is a well-established business in Ayrshire delivering high-quality engineering solutions to a wide industry base. With continued growth, they\’re looking to add to their Estimating team. Prior experience in estimating or proposals is not required, as training will be provided. What matters most is your technical knowledge of pipe work and / or fabrication projects, combined with good communication and organisation skills. Key Responsibilities Working with the operations team to prepare accurate proposals, quotations and costings for client projects Reviewing client specifications and drawings to ensure scope is fully understood Liaising with engineers, welders and project staff to gather project requirements Supporting tender submissions and project documentation Developing estimating skills with support and mentoring What\’s Required Background in pipefitting, site welding or fabrication Ability to interpret drawings and technical requirements Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach Willingness to learn the \”paperwork side\” of projects Good communicator who likes solving problems What\’s on Offer Full training and development into estimating and proposals work Career progression within a secure and growing business Competitive salary and benefits Monday-Friday, dayshift, role Interested?
