My client is a UK building materials and construction solutions business. Their innovative products and solutions not only deliver the infrastructure needed to support the UK economy today, but also help to create a more sustainable built environment for the future. We are currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Plant in East Lothian, conveniently located within commuting distance of Edinburgh and surrounding areas. Main Responsibilities
- Act as a key member of the 24/7 Maintenance team, focusing on electrical and process control equipment across the plant within a large-scale continuous process manufacturing environment.
- Respond to plant breakdowns, fault finding, restoring equipment to service safely, and supporting operational reliability across the site.
- Prioritise safety at all times, demonstrating a strong understanding of health, safety and environmental standards, electrical isolations, permit systems and safe working practices within a heavy industrial environment.
- Respond to electrical breakdowns and carry out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on plant equipment in a safe and timely manner.
