Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Day Shift (Mon-Fri) Salary: Up to £47,400 per annum DOE We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our clients established engineering team within a long-standing, family-run Scottish business. This is a varied and hands-on role, offering stability, career development, and the opportunity to work with a close-knit team. Key Details: Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:20 – 15:50 Salary: £47,400 per annum (includes flexibility allowance) Christmas shutdown every year Pension scheme and production-based bonus Overtime available at enhanced ratesYour Responsibilities: Carry out both proactive and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial machinery. Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues, including PLC control systems. Support production teams to minimise downtime and ensure timely repairs. Work across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Uphold good housekeeping practices and contribute to continuous improvement.About You: Time-served / modern apprenticeship in an electrical engineering discipline (or equivalent). Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. Knowledge of PLCs, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and mechanical drive systems. Flexible and multiskilled, with a willingness to undertake mechanical work.
