CNC Turner Escape Recruitment are working with a well-established precision engineering manufacturer who are looking to add an experienced CNC Turner to their machine shop team on a permanent basis. This is a shift-based role working within a modern machining environment producing high-quality engineered components to fine tolerances. The business is looking for someone who can confidently set and operate CNC lathes, work from engineering drawings and maintain strong quality standards throughout production. The Role Setting and operating CNC horizontal lathes Working across multiple CNC machines within the machine shop Editing and adjusting FANUC programmes Machining precision engineered components to tight tolerances Working from engineering drawings Manufacturing components to delivery schedules whilst maintaining quality standards Supporting and assisting with training of new staff where required What We Are Looking For Time served CNC Turner / CNC Machinist Experience setting and operating CNC lathes FANUC editing experience Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Experience machining stainless steel and exotic materials would be advantageous Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Good attention to detail and quality standards Shift Pattern Rotating shifts: 2 weeks Early Shift 2 weeks Back ShiftEarly Shift: Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14:15 Friday 06:00 - 11:10 Back Shift: Monday to Thursday 14:15 - 23:45 Friday OFF Salary & Benefits £17.00 per hour 20% shift allowance applied to all hours worked 36 hour working week Permanent position On-site parking Employee ownership opportunities
