What we are looking for:
We\’re looking for a skilled Lighting Artist to join our team and deliver world-class lighting for our current project. We are looking for a candidate who has passion and experience both in artistry of Lighting as well as a high level of Tech Art Lighting skills. The ideal candidate has experience in lighting variety of maps, in variety of levels of stylization. Someone who is proud of their ability to control the atmosphere and mood of the image. This is an opportunity to join a talented, passionate team of developers and artists, playing an integral part in pushing the boundaries on real-time visuals to new levels.
Requirements:
- Get the right tone, mood and atmosphere for our game
- Lit game levels as well as UI experience and cinematics
- Work on sky boxes, postprocesses
- Work on color grading
- Set up best practices and work environment and VFX art teams
- Work closely with the Lead lighting artist to establish visual targets.
- Closely work with Tech Artists to have optimal performance.
What you will bring:
- Comprehensive experience working with real-time lighting techniques in the video games industry.
- Minimum released 1 project with Unreal Engine
- Fundamental understanding of colour and lighting theories
- Experience of lighting stylized realism project
- Understanding of material authoring in a physically based rendering pipeline
- Proven experience with Color Grading
- Sound knowledge of lighting theory
- A comprehensive portfolio, showcasing your artistic skills
