What we are looking for As a UI Engineer, you will work closely with Design, Animation, and Audio to develop, write, implement, and debug code for the UI on our unannounced Project.
What we will do together Collaborate with other disciplines (art, design, sound) in implementing the UI.
Write code that fulfills the functional and technical requirements of the project.
Participate in the design of products and perform some testing activities.
Adhere to the project’s coding standards.
Research coding techniques and algorithms to stay current on technological developments and advancements in the game industry.
Identify technical and developmental risks/obstacles and generate solutions to overcome identified risks.
What you will bring Experience developing games professionally and shipping AAA titles.
Experience using industry-standard engines such as Unity and UE5.
A keen analytical mind with strong problem‑solving skills.
Strong C++ skills and the ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics and tools.
Strong math skills.
Well versed in games and able to articulate what is strong/weak about the design of existing games.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self‑motivated, with a strong work ethic, and able to work independently.
Creativity in problem‑solving and the ability to think outside established solutions.
Keen interest in games.
