Overview: A respected and long-established water treatment specialist is looking to add a Water Hygiene Technician to their team in Scotland. This is a field-based role involving travel across the UK, supporting clients with a range of water hygiene services to ensure compliance with UK standards and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out temperature monitoring, TMV servicing, and sampling
  • Clean and disinfect Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWST)
  • Complete water hygiene tasks in line with ACOP L8, HSG 274, HTM 04-01, and SHTM 04-01
  • Support Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes
  • Maintain accurate records and client-facing reports
  • Work independently and liaise with clients professionally on-site

What You’ll Need:

  • Previous experience in a water hygiene role
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance frameworks (ACOP L8, HSG 274, HTM/SHTM 04-01)
  • Hands-on experience with TMV servicing, sampling, and tank disinfection
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Confident working in confined spaces and at height
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
