Overview: A respected and long-established water treatment specialist is looking to add a Water Hygiene Technician to their team in Scotland. This is a field-based role involving travel across the UK, supporting clients with a range of water hygiene services to ensure compliance with UK standards and legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out temperature monitoring, TMV servicing, and sampling
- Clean and disinfect Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWST)
- Complete water hygiene tasks in line with ACOP L8, HSG 274, HTM 04-01, and SHTM 04-01
- Support Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes
- Maintain accurate records and client-facing reports
- Work independently and liaise with clients professionally on-site
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in a water hygiene role
- Knowledge of relevant compliance frameworks (ACOP L8, HSG 274, HTM/SHTM 04-01)
- Hands-on experience with TMV servicing, sampling, and tank disinfection
- Full UK driving licence
- Confident working in confined spaces and at height
- Excellent time management and communication skills
