Escape Recruitment is supporting our client in Rosyth to appoint a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their growing engineering and manufacturing team.
This role focuses on ensuring that supplied products and services meet the required quality, cost and delivery standards. You will work closely with suppliers, engineering and procurement teams to resolve quality issues, drive improvements and support the wider business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support suppliers with developing and improving manufacturing processes
- Ensure supplied products meet all technical and quality requirements
- Carry out supplier audits and support supplier approval activities
- Manage supplier non conformances, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support First Article Inspection and technical documentation
- Analyse supplier performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Provide guidance and training to suppliers on quality expectations
- Work closely with internal quality, engineering and purchasing teams
About You
- Qualified Engineer with experience in manufacturing or quality
- Strong understanding of quality systems and ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
- Experience of supplier quality, auditing, NCR management and problem solving
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams and influence suppliers
- Able to work independently and drive actions to completion
