Escape Recruitment are partnering with an established manufacturing client to recruit a Buyer responsible for end-to-end purchasing across materials, CAPEX, and indirect spend. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting operational and project requirements while driving supplier performance and cost efficiency. You will work closely with engineering, operations and internal stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for procurement across the companies sites.

Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end purchasing activity across site requirements
- Prepare RFQs, tenders, and cost comparisons
- Develop and manage supplier relationships and performance
- Expedite deliveries to meet operational deadlines
- Drive cost reduction and sourcing improvements
- Support lean supply chain initiatives
- Resolve supplier and invoice queries
- Mentor junior team members
- Proven procurement experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
- Experience with tender processes and contract administration
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- ERP system experience
- CIPS qualified or studying towards (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Team player with a proactive, positive approach
