We are seeking an experienced Engineering Support Manager (12 month FTC) to provide technical leadership across capital and site-led projects within a fast-paced drinks manufacturing environment .
You will ensure new equipment and assets meet engineering, safety and statutory requirements, while supporting smooth commissioning, handover and integration into operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering compliance across capital and site projects.
- Act as the Engineering representative at project meetings.
- Review and manage technical files, drawings, certification and documentation.
- Ensure machinery meets safety, statutory and engineering standards.
- Coordinate commissioning, operational readiness and asset handover.
- Work with OEMs, contractors and site teams to resolve technical issues.
- Drive continuous improvement using tools such as 5S, A3, Fishbone and 5 Whys .
- Support improvements in equipment performance and OEE.
What You'll Bring
- Engineering degree and recognised apprenticeship, ideally Mechanical or Electrical.
- Experience in FMCG, food or drinks manufacturing .
- Strong knowledge of engineering compliance, machinery safety and risk assessment.
- Understanding of CDM 2015 .
- Experience with CMMS systems and strong IT/documentation skills.
- Excellent communication, influencing and contractor management skills.
- A structured, analytical and completer-finisher approach.
