We are working with an established engineering business who are looking to bring in a Quality Inspector to support inspection activities across machined components. This is a hands-on role, focused on dimensional inspection, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring components meet required specifications.

What you'll be doing:

  • Inspecting machined components against engineering drawings
  • Recording measurements and completing inspection reports
  • Identifying and documenting non-conformances (NCR process)
  • Working with a range of metrology equipment
  • Supporting quality standards across the shop floor

What we're looking for:

  • Time served within an engineering environment
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar inspection role
  • Strong experience using metrology equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience in a machining or heavy engineering environment

Desirable:

  • Exposure to CMM
  • Aware of NDE processes
