Are you an experienced engineer or project manager looking to take the next step into operational leadership ?

I'm recruiting for a

Deputy Operations Manager to support the Area Manager across engineering operations, project delivery, customer relationships and team leadership.

This isn't a purely office-based management position. You'll be involved in projects, people, customers, planning, engineering solutions and commercial delivery .

You'll be responsible for

  • Planning and delivering engineering projects
  • Managing performance and development
  • Customer liaison and technical advice
  • Project scheduling and Gantt charts
  • Costing, quotations and project P&L
  • Site inspections and project delivery
  • Risk assessments and H&S
  • Supporting contractual requirements including NEC3
  • Reactive and scheduled engineering work
  • Engineering Degree/HND or equivalent experience
  • Previous team leadership
  • Strong commercial and customer-facing skills
  • Knowledge of NEC3
  • Full UK driving licence
