Escape Recruitment Services are recruiting for a Sales Administrator for our client, a successful SME and growing organisation based in Glasgow. This role sits at the heart of the sales function, providing essential administrative and customer support to ensure orders are processed smoothly from initial enquiry through to delivery and after sales follow up.
The Role
As Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating quotes, orders and documentation while acting as a key point of contact for both customers and suppliers. You will support the sales team with day to day administration and play an important role in maintaining service standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and issuing quotes, proposals and order confirmations within agreed timescales, including follow up to support conversion
- Processing sales orders, checking availability, arranging deliveries and supporting payment processes
- Liaising with suppliers on repeat and bespoke enquiries to ensure customer requirements are met
- Handling customer enquiries by phone and email and providing after sales support
- Raising invoices, assisting with credit checks and maintaining accurate customer and order records
- Updating CRM systems and producing basic reports as required
- Supporting the wider sales team with administrative tasks and information management
- Resolving customer queries or issues efficiently and professionally
Ideal Candidate
- Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a customer focused approach
- Previous experience in sales administration, account support, service desk or a similar B2B role is preferred, although recent graduates will also be considered
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy environment
- Positive, proactive and collaborative team player
