Electrical Bias Multi Skilled Engineer

Salary: £53,625 + Excellent Benefits Package

Shift Pattern: Early/Back Rotational (Average 34.75 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on a range of automated equipment and systems
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner to minimise downtime
  • Complete planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with schedules
  • Support installation and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades
  • Work collaboratively with the wider engineering team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Ensure all work complies with site safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Time-served engineer with a strong electrical bias and multi-skilled capability
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, ONC/HNC, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering)
  • Solid understanding of PLCs, automation systems, and control panels
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, industrial environment
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive attitude and commitment to high standards of work and safety

Shift Pattern:

Early Shift:

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • Friday: 6:00am – 4:00pm

Back Shift:

  • Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Friday: OFF

(Weekly average: 34.75 hours)
