An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a busy, high-performing maintenance department. This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical and electrical skills who are passionate about problem-solving and delivering high standards of maintenance and engineering support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out rapid fault-finding and analysis of mechanical and electrical breakdowns
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive repairs on a variety of equipment, including vacuums, pumps, CNC machinery, rotating equipment, and electrical systems
- Electrical fault-finding and installation tasks
- Ensuring all corrective actions are completed and recorded using the Computerised Maintenance Management (CMM) system
- Maintaining a high attention to detail with strong analytical and reporting skills
What We Are Looking For:
- Essential:
- Recognised, certificated Mechanical/Electrical Apprenticeship
- Educated to HNC level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, including fault-finding on control panels
- Knowledge of induction heating processes and vacuum equipment is highly desirable
- Desirable:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and new challenges
- Proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Calm under pressure with a practical, hands-on approach
- Strong team player
